I have been knitting for 13 years this fall (2011). I love that with needles, yarn and an idea you can make all kinds of beautiful things. I love to see what others have made, it inspires and gives me all kinds of neat ideas. I love to design patterns, though I only get to do that occasionally. I love it when I see something sewn, crocheted or quilted, because that gives me neat ideas for patterns and gives me something challenging.
